Fridays Hockey Hottie

We are still trying to get the hang of some of this new formatting stuff from Blogger. Along with that, we know our postings have not shot out of the game with our usually high standards (.....we hear you chuckling over there...knock it off). We were never much of a 1st period player, we come through as the game moves along.

So show some patience. Sheesh!

Hockey Hotties

You demanded that we bring back "The Hockey Hottie" segment and who are we to deny you?   We will usually keep these for Friday's as a reward to you all for making it through the work week.

Well Saturday night was the first chance I got to really sit down and watch some NHL hockey.   There I was, watching the Rangers opener, drinking a Leinenkugel Octoberfest and getting a foot rub from the wife.....Life is good.  :)

Speaking of the Rangers, nice debut by Derek Stepan with him notching a hat trick in his first NHL game.   While he has been a fan favorite here while playing at the UW, we still don't see him as a big scorer in the NHL....we're thinking around the 40-45 pt mark.   We would love for Derek to prove us wrong.  Congrats Derek.

We applaud the Kings for going with the throwback uniforms but we REALLY loved Jonathan Quick for the old school goalie pads!!!!    Well played, Jonathan!!
